Amazon Fire TV

Updated video:

In this video I’ll show you how to install Kodi XBMC onto the Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick using adbFire.

*Make sure you disconnect your phones, tablets or kill any Android emulators running in the background.
*Temporarily disable virus scanners and firewall if you’re getting an endless loop while attempting to install.
*”if you get the error disconnect Then go into firestick settings and turn off debugging etc then back on again and then click connect on adbfire.” -163TM847

  1. If you have a virus scanner then it may be issuing a false alert and preventing adbfire from installing. Also, go to settings and enable apps from unknown sources (or anywhere on mac). Try that and let me know what happens.

  2. If your kodi apk won’t install and keeps cycling thru-  rename the apk file to just kodi.apk and try again.  worked for me.

  3. To everyone that’s having problem installing Apps, make sure you UNINSTALL “BlueStacks” .. once its uninstalled you can now install apps

  4. okay so I followed it all. I don’t know how to un zip the file and when I try to find the page to put in my ip address it is different from the one that you have on the screen. please help me I really am not good with computers

  5. when i go to kodi.tv..
. then scroll down to the development builds it isnt helix anymore its now called “krypton”…. on top of that the andriod selection only has “nightly build” and when i click “ARM”… it doesnt download. it sends me to…..(mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/android/arm/?C=N&O=D)… How about the other option for android… “Current release “Jarvis” will that work?

    • It goes to a page that says you have to register I tried that and Amazon could not help. I bought a android box from codetvbox.com thanks

    • Log into your amazon account normally through a PC web page. My account was stuck when I entered too many bad passwords previously on another tablet. Once I logged in successfully via PC, I was able to log in via the FireTV.

    • +Roger Edge Try what Dylan suggested. Also, verify that your Amazon account is activated and good to go. If they they you a verification email then confirm it as soon as possible. Also, create a new account using a computer so that you can surpass the requirement to input a payment method. Finally, perform a factory reset by pressing and holding down the Back button and the Right button on your Fire TV remote for 10 seconds until the reset screen pops up. That should restore your device to its factory default condition. Try these and let us know how it works.

  6. make sure you use the links listed in the description, since they are different than the ones he mentions in the video
